Here the link ( http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=16011447@N08&q=electrical+componet+222&m=text ). Could you please tell me what there purpose is, how they work, and anything fun that i might be able to do with them. Any links that talk about these electrical components or anything about electricity and magnets in a easy to understand way would be appreciated. I’m really interested in the round coil one.

please list objects that go through any kind of voltage change
eg. many devices use transformers and transistors and resistors to convert voltage.
Also, preferably objects that have anything to do with electricity and magnets

Well I’m in 8th grade so I don’t want really really complicated answers
It’s just that I’m doing a project on electricity and magnets. And when i saw that in an atom, electrons orbit the nucleus. But i was wondering why because protons are positive and electrons are negative. This means that they are attracted to each other. So then why is it orbiting around it instead of being in the nucleus?
I don’t get it =/
