Is enameled magnet wire a copper wire?

Is enameled magnet wire a copper wire(normal electrical wire) ?
If not, can a enameled wire replace by other metal which also can generate electricity?
Can I use normal electrical wire instead of enameled magnetic wire to generate electircity for turbine?

Separate magnets rotating about one coil?

I asked this question some time ago, but would like to add more details –

I’m working on a physics project for school, where I’m trying to generate electricity using a circular coil of magnet wire, 24 gauge, 100 turns. I’m using 6 magnets in pairs of two, so that’s like three magnets, to rotate next to the coil, each one spaced 120 degrees from the other. Apparently this setup would still generate electricity, but I’m wondering if you guys can contribute any more information.

Separate magnets rotating about one coil?

I’m making a physics project in which I’m trying to generate electricity with three magnets and a coil of magnet wire. So, I’m thinking, if I had the three magnets rotate around the coil separately, would that still generate current? Or does it only work with one magnet

How Much Electricity is Needed to Charge Magnet Wire?

I got a bit of magnet wire a few hours ago, but I have no way to test if it’s actually working. I don’t have an ohmmeter, so I decided to just hook it up to something and see if it gets any charge. I tried a D battery, and as I though, nothing happened. Do I need to try to plug it into an outlet or something?

P.S.- I have already burned the enamel off the ends of the wire.
