Easy invention for Science?

I’m in 8th grade cluster (advanced) science and our teacher assigned the class either an invention on magnets and/or electricity,or a presentation. I went with the invention. It was given a week ago and I havent been able to come up with any sort of invention I could do. My friend is doing an automatic windmill with a motor but he is getting help from his dad to build it, I don’t have that sort of parental support. Science isn"t my best subject but I want to keep my grades up, I don’t want to disapoint my parents anymore. I need a simple invention on magnets/electricity. Can anyone help me?

I put a pretty strong magnet on my laptop, now it's all messed up!?

I didn’t know magnets can mess up electricity, but I guess I had to learn my lesson the hard way, but whenever I turn on my computer, it leads me to the screen saying something like "We’re sorry but the…" and it rambles on about something until it really starts. But then after that, the screen just sort of shuts off even when the lap top is still on. Can I fix it? I’m freaked out!

Can humans control the electrons of their bodies?

I saw some people who can float lite things such as a bit of paper or a ping pong ball, then they say that they control their electrons of their bodies causing static electricity to magnet lite things, when we ask them how they control their electrons they answer : by concentration or "working your body, soul, spirit together" or something like that.
i mean what the hell, is that true????

How can I float a ball a minimum of 1" above a surface without the use of electricity?

I’ve been trying to figure out a creative way to float a ball some resonable height (1" or greater) without the use of electricty for electromagnets or for an air stream. I’m stumped. Playing with super magnets, but can’t get the height I want. Any ideas?

What kind of Electrical motors can generate electricity?

I made a permanent magnet motor, that turns fast enough to maybe create charge. I need to know what sorts of electrical motors will make a dc current. Can I use any battery operated motor, like out of a handheld fan or a remote control car?
Is there a "best" way to make electricity with a rotating shaft?

Do magnets produce electricity when heated(2)?

I have always enjoyed good science. I also believe that God created everything and that His Spirit controls the rules of our Universe. His Spirit "tells" the physical world how to behave. So this is what I’ve done:

My theory is that Heat, Magnetism, and Electricity are all interdependent in certain metallic materials(the Spirit tells them how to behave). By creating 2 of them( heat+ magnetism) I would automatically achieve the 3 rd. Since the magnet is already magnetized, I applied heat and hoped to achieve electricity. It worked as far a I know.

I took a circle-shaped magnet. I connected a LED light( a diode) to the magnet by 2 wires. I then heated the magnet on the stove. The LED light was lit. I then put the magnet in a bowl of cold water. The LED light increased in luminosity. I removed the magnet from the water and put in on the floor. It is 8 hours since I done that and the LED light is still on. How can this be possible? Isn’t this free(or cheap) energy?I didn’t say that it provides energy forever and ever. Just that for the past 8 hours the LED light is still on. The light is fading, but it is still on.

The LED light was taken from a flashlight and the heat source is not electric. Believe me, I’m not lying. I moved the magnet all over my house. It isn’t connected to anything. And I also took one of the wires off and the LED was off. I put it back and the LED was on.

You have to believe me. I don’t claim to have produced free energy, but it is a very strange phenomenon and I want to get an explanation.

The LED light was taken from a flashlight. The only component that I forgot to mention is a transceiver(I don’t know if this is the correct term) connected to one of the wires. Believe me, I’m not lying. I moved the magnet all over my house. It isn’t connected to anything. And I also took one of the wires off and the LED was off. I put it back and the LED was on.

It was a gas stove. Not an electric one.
My other theory is that the magnet acted like a capacitor storing electrical charges.

I mentioned transceiver. I don’t know the correct term to use, but it is a little piece of plastic that surrounds the wire. I don’t think that it can influence the experiment, but I mentioned it anyway. I wanted to be thorough in my explanation.
I now removed the "transceiver". The light is still on!!
